Research direction
I am interested in the gap between feeling like you understand something and actually understanding it. Building a reading tool made that gap concrete. EEG is the direction I want to take it, carefully and with people who know the methods.
Synthetic illustration. Not recorded brain data.
These are plans. There are no results, no code links, and no metrics yet, and there will not be any until real work exists behind them.
About

I mostly learn by building. I start with a problem that annoys me, make a rough version, and keep rewriting it until it is actually useful to someone other than me.
That habit is what pulled me toward the brain. Building a reading tool made me curious about how attention and understanding could be measured rather than guessed at, and that curiosity turned into reading about EEG, decoding, and brain computer interfaces.
I am early. What I can offer a lab right now is careful work, comfort with data and code, and real willingness to learn rigorous research practice from people who already do it well.

Seeking undergraduate research opportunities. I am happy to start with the unglamorous parts: cleaning data, writing scripts, checking recordings, reading with the group.
